The name of Werner Haas, a Stuttgart born young pianist, appeared on a concert programme printed by the Netherlandīs Concert Direction, J. Beek, Den Haag next to the names of Arthur Rubinstein, A. Magaloff and Rudolf Firkusny, for the concert season 1967/68 "Vier Meesters aan het Klavier". People had already begun to talk about him when he was just 13 years old because he had won the first prize at a public piano competition in Stettin, Germany.
